About Ben Schoenbauer
Mr. Schoenbauer is a Professional Engineer responsible for completing the preliminary and final engineering for minor and major roadway projects. He currently serves the NCDOT as a Project Design Engineer for the Central Region in the Work Zone Traffic Control Section. He has accomplished numerous tasks associated with the full range of highway engineering. Specific duties he has completed for local municipalities, counties, FDOT and NCDOT include: roadway layout concepts, geometry calculations, traffic operations analysis, preparation of plan and profile sheets, signing and pavement marking plans, traffic operations and signalization plans, traffic control plans and utility plans. Mr. Schoenbauer has also had experience with Site Plan preparation. Mr. Schoenbauer is proficient with Bentley Microstation, GEOPAK, Descartes, SAP, Synchro and Freeval.
