About Ben Henschel

As an undergraduate student at Northeastern University interested in both the education field and non-profits, I’m driven by a commitment to fostering inclusive communities.In the education field, I served as the Education Leadership Intern for the Education for the Children Foundation where I taught a summer school English course and supported the school administration team; tutored students at both the university and grade school levels; and led extracurricular Spanish classes for undergraduate students.In the non-profit space, I have served as Executive Director of Anchorless Productions, a student-run theater company dedicated to serving special needs youth.At Northeastern University, I’m pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Communication Studies with an expected graduation date of May 2026. On campus, I’m involved with the Peer Tutoring Program, the Culture and Language Learning Society, Sigma Delta Pi (national Spanish honors society), and Husky Ambassadors (campus tours for prospective students).

   Hold sessions with middle school, high school, and undergraduate university students to aid them in subjects such as Spanish, mathematics, and history-Explain concepts, develop and recommend study techniques, create materials that clarify and simplify material, and provide practice work tailored to areas of improvement.
