About Ben Ross

I am a current Masters candidate at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University and a student of Professor Bill Sharp. After several years in Chicago as a board relations and VIP volunteer manager for the Office of Advancement at the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago, I\'ve headed back to school to continue my development as a singer and musician. Positions in Audience Services at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Development at the Auditorium Theatre, as a PA backstage at the Ravinia Festival, and as event staff for the Office of the President at the University of Iow gave me great experience in high touch environments managing VIPs and volunteer leaders for some of the largest arts and educational institutions in the midwest. In addition, my training as a performer and educator has allowed me to develop communication and organizational skills well suited both my life as a performer, development worker, and events manager.
