About Ben Rosenbaum
I am a Research Fellow at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. My interests include Neurology, Cerebrovascular Disease, and Cytopathology. Over the past few years, I have been conducting Neurology / Neuro interventional research, where I work alongside Downstate physicians, researchers, and medical students. While completing my bachelor\'s degree in Biology, and subsequently graduating summa cum laude, I served as vice president on the executive board of the pre-health society and an associate editor of the Touro University Science Journal. Additionally, I also worked as a medical assistant/phlebotomist for an Internist/Nephrologist located in NYC. During my free time, I enjoy volunteering at the New York Cancer Center and teaching at schools and religious organizations how to properly use advanced medical equipment to stop hemorrhage before being taken to the hospital. I enjoy volunteering in a proactive rather than a reactive manner to help save lives. It is satisfying to know that I am helping empower others to protect their students or congregants.
