xAd is the leader in real-time, location-based marketing, without the guesswork serving millions of consumers and marketers. 500 Million Monthly Users, 100 Million Unique Points of Interest and 100 Thousand Apps on xAd Platform.” • Manage and improves a large scale and dynamic production AWS Cloud with thousands of instances and services • Develop and implement effective 24x7 monitoring, configuration & automation tools in the production operations environment • Collaborate with other teams including the Data Science group to operate and upgrade platforms • Design a reliable site to be able to handle traffic burst gracefully and implement a scalable platform capacity and redundancy plan based upon traffic and seasonal business forecast• Support for frequent cloud Infrastructure and Platforms software releases and updates• Work with Finance and other groups to deliver AWS Optimization Project (i.e. cost/usage, budget, tagging and forecasting, regular reporting and communications)• Effectively utilize several vendors as partners and resources• Design and implement usable automation tools for SRE and other teams to be self-sufficient and productive using cloud resources shortening the time of deployments• Open Source Platform and Technologies Used by the Team: Icinga, VictorOps, Apache, Tomcat, MemCached, HA Proxy, Shell Scripting, MySql, several AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Route53, RDS, Elasticsearch, Athena, Redshift, CloudFormation, Terraform
