The Senior Operations Geologist serves as the organization\'s primary authority on geosteering operations. This individual’s primary responsibility is to interpret subsurface data in real time and provide accurate, timely communication regarding stratigraphic bit position during all phases of drilling. Ensuring wellbore placement aligns with the Development Team’s objectives is a key focus of the role. In addition to active drilling support, the Senior Operations Geologist will contribute to pre-spud planning, assist with completions operations, and participate in special projects as needed. This role includes regular collaboration with third-party geoscience providers and shared responsibility with the Geoscience Manager for overseeing the quality and timeliness of external deliverables. As a critical member of Flywheel Energy’s Drilling and Completions Team, this individual must be available to provide technical expertise during non-traditional business hours—including nights and weekends—as required by operational demands.
