My work experience includes operational and financial exposure to the energy and forestry resource industries in Alberta and British Columbia. I have had an emphasis on working cooperatively in a team environment and am often called upon to take a leadership and decision making role within teams.I have had the benefit of growing up on a mixed forestry and cattle ranch, which alongside previous employment as a firefighter, has grounded me in the character qualities of hard work and individual responsibility.Through the joint disciplines of the commerce and engineering faculties, my educational background has provided me with operational and regulatory courses in the oil and gas industry along with exposure to government regulations. My exposure to advanced data analytics, project management, and finance is remarkably diverse due to my experience working in major projects, continued operations, maintenance, and development of a greenfield management of change system to replace legacy SAP systems.
