CIMA- All exams passed first time.Business Partner:Senior Business Analyst:Investment Analyst: Business Analyst :British AirwaysActing as finance partner for offshore customer service related operations (cargo hub activities). Responsible for around 40m of op costs in MESA, APAC, Africa and Europe (over 150 airport hubs in total).I was also the finance contact for all business cases (around 100 a year), ranging in value from 3k to 15m.This role has helped me develop many skills including global communications with non financial stakeholders, which has resulted in strong business relationships in various cultures. I am also now comfortable working with complex data from a variety of currencies, countries and time zones.My role involved-Influencing senior stakeholders and peers by analysing and presenting complex data models to back up findings-Complex data modelling (excel) for Investment appraisals (NPV, IRR, Payback etc) such as: Acquisitions (Capex), operational restructuring and contract negotiations; in the form of business cases-Cost controlling (budgeting/forecasting) for all associated costs in the regions-Variance analysis of monthly figures e.g due to volume, Forex or performance-Communicating (via financial commentary) operational activities and feeding back cost effective recommendations-Collaborating with non financial peers in different time zones to resolve issues and work to improve the efficiency of the operation-Headcount management, monitoring/uploading forecast changes explaining variances.
