About Ben Mongirdas
Passionate Electrical and Computer Engineering student at Vanderbilt University. I\'m currently immersed in research on a NTT Accelerator, concentrating on the hardware implementation of the NTT algorithm for cryptography. I\'m great at rapidly picking up new concepts and I have strong leadership skills, demonstrated in my roles as President of the Villanova Singers and Music Director for the Villanova Spires (a cappella). In my spare time, I created Animalia Chordata, an app whose goal is to help control classrooms and quiet down rowdy kids. It was such a rewarding experience seeing something I created myself get approved for the Apple app store. I acquired and honed many skills, such as, but not limited to, maintaining a large-scale project, managing my time effectively by having to balance research, this project, and school, and not being afraid to tackle challenges I didn\'t even see coming. I love learning new things, whether it be about history, programming, music, sports, or really anything else. I especially enjoy creating software to solve small, rather insignificant problems that make my life just that much easier (such as an HEIC to pdf converter written in Java for submitting my homework in the proper format!). With a knack for swiftly adapting to new challenges, coupled with strong interpersonal and communication skills, I bring a unique blend of technical prowess and leadership qualities. I\'m proficient in C/C++ and Python, with bilingual fluency in Lithuanian. I\'m open/able to work anywhere in the US or Europe. Eager to contribute my dynamic skill set to help innovative on projects and teams. Let\'s connect and explore new opportunities!
