As a Power Program Manager with more than seventeen years of experience, I have worked on Power Delivery projects ranging from 25 kV to 345 kV across the country for both small county public utility districts and cooperatives to large investor-owned utilities. My experience as a program manager has been focused on helping power utilities manage a large portfolio of concurrent projects during all task delivery stages and in support of multiple services and disciplines, including from permitting/right of way acquisition to design and construction/closeout. My portfolio of projects for major programs has been nearly projects in the last 6 years.I also support clients as a Subject Matter Expert in Utility Risk Assessment, focused on helping utilities proactively plan for natural hazard events and disasters in their operating region. I help take the results from the assessments and integrate them into a programmatic approach to reduce a utility’s overall risk profile and helps plan to increase overall resiliency and reliability. Portfolio optimization, project planning, and program execution are all factors in managing the overall risk of a utility, and I help support that effort from concept and analysis to implementation and risk reduction review.

   Promoted to Power Program Manager in Resources Program Management Group, reporting to Resources Director of Program Management. Duties include responsibility of managing multidisciplinary Power programs with a high degree of technical complexity and non-technical intricacies. Responsible for directing and monitoring all aspects of program execution externally as scoped with the client and internally for operations and planning. Work to provide clients with strategic advice and thought leadership, deploying the required resources to address various program challenges.Program Management Highlights:• Within one week of accepting position, helped lead and manage an RFP for Power Delivery Engineering (Substation and Transmission) and ROW/Survey services as part of a 3-4 year System upgrade investment plan which resulted in direct award of over 40 multi-disciplinary projects in initial program assignment.• Have completed Program Management services for development of overall Program Management Plans, Program/Portfolio Schedule development and implementation (Primavera P6), and Program Management Information System (PMIS) development for enterprise use for client and contractors/consultatnts. Have also managed staff augmentation support for substation engineering, P6 scheduling, and internal client Program Management and Project Controls support.
