Develop, Complete Estimates for all new and inflight Business Unit (BUP), Syncrude and Suncor Base-plant Upgrading, Mine, Tailings & Extraction Projects. Checking/Validating estimates developed by Engineering Companies (EP). Ensuring the Engineering companies have incorporated required information pertaining to scope and execution to develop estimates. Validate, Analyze and update EP estimates as per Suncor Standard. Update Construction Direct and Indirect Labour Rates on regular basis. Analyze/Investigate reasons for changes and highlight it during estimate presentation. Identify opportunities and provide suggestions to Project Teams to reduce costs. Ensure all estimates developed or reviewed are in line with Business Objectives, Scope, Execution Plan and Project Schedule. Use CEC Benchmarking tool to analyze/validate all estimates
