In this position, I am responsible for maintaining and promoting a service wide volunteer programme across 6 different sites, where I diversified the role and achieved volunteer team of the year. A big achievement in this role, was that I built the offer from ground up and launched new volunteer roles, including the first online volunteer position for individuals to work from home which actively expanded the volunteer base. Achieved a promotion to Programme Development Manager in January 2022, following extensive success as a Sector Specialist Volunteer Manager and additional project and team management. I managed key projects with public art being installed across the venues, sourcing and collaborating with 6 Artists for the project. Additionally, I sat on the advisory panel for a national collective of heritage professionals, providing support on a local and national level. Throughout my career, I have been lucky to work across multiple roles/ sectors including the Private Sector, Public Sector, Heritage, Arts and Culture. The best part about my roles has been able to engage directly with people and provide high levels of customer service and care. I have been able to engage directly with individuals at all levels, including those who are vulnerable or have specialist needs. I consider myself to be not only client focused but also a champion of equality, diversity and inclusion. Strategy and management have played a big role within my career, having overseen various programmes, dynamic teams and drove organisational success. I am keen to connect and network with like minded individuals.
