Managing projects through their entire lifecycle in a variety of materials including Maraging steel, 316L Stainless Steel and high temperature Nickel based super alloys. Activities include-Reviewing customer requirements and drawings and assessing feasibility for direct metal printing-Development of solutions to streamline and optimize manufacture of customer projects-Prepare written quotations and proposals-Manage and organize technical aspects of projects-Give technical assistance to the production team.Additional duties-Presenting to customers and prospects at design for direct metal printing events, giving customers the tools to optimize their components for additive manufacture at the design stage-Implemented introduction of new CAM system (Gibbscam) in UK facility and provide a technical lead to all staff-3 and 5 axis offline CAM program generation as required for additional machining on customer projects-Fixture design for CNC Milling applications, optimizing CNC machining processes on printed parts.
