Provide day-to-day investment support to deliver the objectives of the new Trustee• Support in the selection of key investment advisers • Build effective working relationships across all levels within the business and with external parties• Work closely with investment advisers across various asset classes on manager selection and performance monitoring• Reconcile monthly valuations of asset classes• Forecast cashflow requirements and arranging cash movements• Provide appropriate challenge to investment advisers where required• Performance tracking of advisers and other key contacts with benchmarking• Participate in investment related meetings, keep meeting records and remain up-to-date with agreed investment strategy changes• Manage and oversee any asset transition activity alongside relevant parties, including development of project plans, monitoring agreed budgets and communicating relevant deadlines• Coordinate input from advisors and other group functions to ensure they meet the objectives and requirements• Maintain clear audit trails, filing and required reporting• Coordinate the production of Monthly / Quarterly reporting • Proactively contribute to the development of a highly motivated, innovative and customer focused team.• Support the delivery of change across HR and the business, and own delivery of key outcomes to drive the improvement of long-term business capability.• Assist the high-quality documenting of end-to-end processes and controls • Ensure that governance and internal financial control over processes are robust and compliant• Build own knowledge of Pensions Regulations, Investment products, asset classes and regulatory environment (RIIO) in order to support key decisions and advise on investment strategy.
