About Ben Lishing

I am a Fourth-year undergraduate student at Miami University\'s Farmer School of Business studying marketing. While I am a marketing major, I have taken many classes beyond marketing that have expanded my knowledge in other subjects such as finance, accounting, and many more. Throughout my time at Miami, I have found myself developing teamwork, social, and leadership skills. These have helped me to connect and work with peers inside and outside of the classroom. During my time at Miami so far, my eyes have been opened to opportunities and experiences that I would never have imagined. During this time I was able to have the opportunity to transfer into the Farmer School of Business where I had to maintain a 3.5 GPA throughout two semesters and complete multiple rigorous classes. This involved being balanced and learning from my past. The opportunity to transfer into the Farmer School of Business has helped me develop a true business mindset. I have also joined several clubs and joined a fraternity where I was able to serve as the new member recruitment chair. Through this experience, I was able to develop social skills and make many connections that I never would have made otherwise.
