About Ben L.
I\'m a senior People Team leader, partnering with businesses that range from lean and nimble start-ups in hypergrowth mode to established global corporate environments. I\'ve supported and led through business journeys in a breadth of industries, including capital management, innovation consulting, SaaS, manufacturing automation, synbio, apparel, and luxury home retail. I think strategically and sensitively, and serve as a consultative partner on significant business and culture initiatives.I\'ve had the opportunity to create People Business Partnership models from the ground up, and have served as a close partner to Talent Acquisition leaders throughout my career. I\'ve become an expert in strategizing and executing experience and engagement efforts with extremely lean resources, making them as rich as possible. I\'ve been the in-the-weeds yet strategic leader across all People Operations. Total Rewards (Global Benefits and Compensation) and People Programs \"spark joy\" for me. And yes, I can deconstruct and rebuild tangled HR systems and programs.I\'m one of those oddballs who actually likes public speaking, nerding out in spreadsheets and contracts, and discussing the finer details of policy. But the greatest satisfaction I derive is from collaborations where we pile on to each others\' ideas and experiences to build masterpieces out of plans, missions, and vision. The best part of my job: When, after intensely challenging work that we could not have accomplished without every team member\'s contributions, we take a step back and reflect on the gratitude we have for one another. It\'s only through trust, strategic thinking, deep collaboration, and care for one another that I am able to lead my teams and business partners through the journey of achieving our unified goals.
