ABOUT BEN KWOK
I am a Cambridge Graduate currently working as a Development Project Manager within RWE Solar & Storage (formerly JBM Solar). I specialise in the consenting of large-scale renewable infrastructure projects (Solar PV; Hydrogen and other storage projects) through TCPA/DCO/DNS regimes. I have a consultancy background which includes the undertaking of climate change impact assessments and climate strategy work for residential/commercial/energy projects, seeking to limit GHG emissions whilst ensuring the development is resilient to changing climatic factors. I have a track record in the promotion and delivery of schemes with exemplar sustainability credentials. I have an interest in taking a natural capital accounting approach to my work, to value the totality of environmental/social/economic benefits and disbenefits which arise from development proposals. I believe that only once we are able to quantify impact can meaningful interventions be designed to promote better places.
