About Ben Kesling
I served as a Marine Corps infantry officer with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan before becoming a reporter for The Wall Street Journal where I covered national defense, veterans issues, politics and general assignment news for more than a decade. I\'m also a two-day Jeopardy! champion.I\'ve attended Wabash College, Harvard Divinity School, Northwestern\'s Medill School and Middlebury College\'s language school.My book, Bravo Company, about an Army company\'s harrowing deployment to Afghanistan and their decade of reckoning after coming home is available from Abrams Press in paperback.Now I\'m working to bring power systems to troops at all echelons, allowing them to use everything from drones to sensors to command and control systems with a low-signature, transportable solution that reduces logistical burdens including fuel supply and maintenance.
