About Ben Huckabee

I have approximately 20 years in the building automation/access control systems field. I have spent time learning the industry from the ground up and have a wide variety of experiences to draw from when making decisions working to resolve issues on a daily basis. I have used my experience in a variety of projects to help streamline installation techniques both with fellow employees as well as customers and subcontractors. I have been called upon to teach troubleshooting skills and installation practices to both new employees, career technicians, and customers. I have spent time both onsite as technical support, project management and a programming resource, as well as a customer representative overseeing construction projects all over the globe. I spent time working in office settings in roles such as a Service Bureau Engineer, as a BMS design consultant, as well as a Critical System Administrator for a large Data Center Provider overseeing sites in multiple countries. I have worked with little supervision and as a part of a team with tasks such as completing construction projects to developing and maintaining a CMMS platform to allow W.O. tracking of issues spread across a global portfolio, schedule and document preventive maintenance practices, and integrated third party vendors to allow immediate resolutions. I am looking to join a team that values fresh ideas and continues to strive to push the envelope in ways to make buildings more efficient and utilize technology to leverage their company and their customers into the future.
