ABOUT BEN HERRMANN

As a senior leader at Audi, I focus on driving large-scale digital transformation and spearheading AI integration across core operations. Currently, I lead an AI-initiative, where I work with a top-tier team to embed AI into the fabric of Audi’s processes. Before this, I played a pivotal role in founding Audi’s new software company and contributed significantly to R&D strategy, particularly in concluding the Dieselgate monitorship and leading the integration of KPI and OKR systems.Prior to Audi, I spent five years at GE’s Energy Business, where I managed product portfolio optimization and complexity for the reciprocating engine business. My work there focused on driving operational excellence and leading global digital transformation initiatives in order fulfillment, giving me deep experience in managing complex systems and optimizing large-scale operations.In addition to my role at Audi, I am the CEO of Diamond Atelier, one of the world’s leading custom motorcycle brands. Under my leadership, Diamond Atelier is entering a new era of high-tech, custom-built motorcycles. Our flagship Mark II Series has set a global standard for bespoke café racers, combining cutting-edge technology with minimalist design.I also lead Greenhind, a venture aimed at implementing sustainable deposit systems in India, advancing circular economy models and driving environmental sustainability in emerging markets.I hold degrees in Aircraft and Vehicle Engineering from the University of Munich and Computer Science from Harvard University, and I am currently completing a PhD in Complexity Management at the Vienna University of Technology.In my personal time, I enjoy restoring classic cars, staying ahead of digital technology trends, and exploring Munich’s outdoor lifestyle.
