About Ben Roberts

Hi, my name is Ben Roberts a Development Manager for Palladium Energy and I have decided to make a difference with a career in renewable energy. The carbon footprint created by humanity today is a cause for concern and by way of renewable energy, we can create positive and impactful change. My role as a Project Manager is about collaborating with a well-orchestrated team that is working towards a common goal. During my work experience, I have been tasked with managing a number of different solar projects from origination to commercial operation. Most recently, I have been responsible for a portfolio of 16 projects in Southern Company territory, carrying them from development through completion. I am continuing to grow my pipeline of projects as I have shifted gears to specializing in the PJM market working with a current portfolio of 18 projects in PA, OH, NC and MD. This role is a great fit for me because of my obsession to stay organized, work under tight deadlines and my ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment. Furthermore, this position provides the opportunity to work towards my passion of lessening the carbon footprint created by humanity, one solar farm at a time. Outside of work I enjoy hanging out with my friends, exploring the greater Asheville area, exercising, and cheering on the Carolina Tarheels and my other favorite sports teams.
