I am a department leader within a leading UK innovator in science and engineering, as part of the Chemring Group plc, a FTSE 250 listed company. I drive long term planning and strategy. I provide advice, support and guidance to the delivery and sales function. This is a senior position reporting to the director.Primary Purpose- Take ownership and be the senior point of contact for delivery across a vast portfolio of products and services. Responsible for the sustainable and profitable growth of this allocated area- Implement change management principles as a strategic leader after acquisition and exercise transformational leadership principles- Facilitates the cascade of business communications to team members, providing context and guidance where required- Set clear and ambitious objectives for the team, support the team in achieving them- Coach & mentor staff across the business- Ensure we compete for work aligned to our strategy, is in balance with our whole portfolio, we have the capability and capacity to deliver and assure, and will achieve our business objectives.
