Manage the construction of 2 H-class single shaft GE combustion turbines, heat recovery steam generation systems, steam turbines, and air-cooled condensers to fulfill a $1B contract for CPV with general output of 1250MW. Oversee all aspects of field operations and work sequences while supervising craft and 300+ salaried staff. Provide hands-on management of the projects P-6, 90-day, 2-week, and daily schedules. Safeguard electrical, piping, HRSG, and scaffolding departments to complete the project safely, under budget, and on time. • Accomplished start-up milestones ahead of baseline schedule despite a 6-month delay of major deliveries due to COVID-19 impact. • Achieved zero-loss time safety incidents throughout the construction phase of 2.5M man hours. • Selected to work as a leadership educator and teach courses at Kiewit University for 2 sessions with 60 students each per year. Additionally taught at Kiewit Power Constructors Superintendents school in Lenexa, Kansas each year, providing industry-leading knowledge as chosen subject matter expert (SME).
