Head of Markets of the European Strategic Consulting business in Jacobs. Responsible for growth across the infrastructure markets Jacobs provides Strategic Consulting and advisory services in, and the link back to technical delivery. Economist and commercial expert with more than 20 years experience and lead on a number of multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects and assignments. I have led sales, delivery and project teams, providing strategic and operational direction.Been project director and manager of several high-profile infrastructure and transportation projects, working extensively with DfT, other public sector bodies, and private sector organisations and operators and investors. Lead adviser to public and private sector clients on numerous infrastructure advisory, policy and delivery projects. including the East Anglia franchise replacement and the economic case for East West Rail, and providing advice across numerous rail franchise competitions and transactions.Also advised on high profile infrastructure and capacity projects, including the sale of High Speed 1, Crossrail, the redevelopment of Waterloo station, HLOS and numerous aviation projects. Author of the demand forecasting benchmarking report cited in the concluding section of the 2010 business case report that led to Government approval for the go ahead for Crossrail.
