About Ben Davidson
I am a chemical engineering graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I am passionate about learning and do not shy away from challenges. I have research experience in a variety of fields within both chemistry and chemical engineering, as well as internship experience in the fields of optical design and microscopy. I have a strong background in the operations and the economics of not only the oil and gas industry, but the energy industry as whole. During a summer internship I got outside of my comfort zone of engineering and worked as an Investment Banking Analyst focusing on chemical M & As. I believe these experiences have given me the strong ability to apply my scientific and engineering training, along with a dose of creativity, to work through a multitude of different problems that I may encounter going forward with my career. I currently work at the ExxonMobil Baytown refinery as one of the fluid catalytic cracking process contact engineers.
