I spent 13 years as a financial adviser. Not the kind that hands you a savings plan and sends you on your way. The kind that used to corner the Goldman Sachs fund managers after the quarterly briefing and not let them leave until I actually understood what was happening underneath the numbers.That habit, of refusing to accept the surface answer, of pulling at threads until the real picture emerged, turned out to be the most transferable skill I\'ve ever had.Because it\'s exactly what good AI consultancy requires.Most businesses that come to me think they know what they need. Sometimes they\'re right. More often, they\'ve correctly identified a symptom and misdiagnosed the cause. An engineer will build what you ask for. I find out what you actually need, then build that instead.
