About Ben Coy

I am a Deloitte Audit & Assurance Managing Director with experience serving audit clients, both public and private, with a focus on the consumer industry. Within the consumer industry I have served a broad array of clients, including retail, services, distribution, restaurants, and manufacturing. I have extensive experience in SEC reporting, internal controls, equity and debt offerings, acquisitions (including integration), dispositions, franchisor accounting and related filings, and serving multi-branded clients with shared service centers. I also provide accounting and reporting advisory services to both public and private clients, including assistance with internal controls, IPO readiness, new accounting standard implementation, accounting for acquisitions and dispositions, determination of segments, restatements, and impairments.Early on in my career, I spent two years in a national role as a Fellow of Deloitte’s Retail, Wholesale, and Distribution practice. In this role, I was focused on elevating my knowledge of the industry and delivering insights to our clients (such as using data analytics to identify trends communicated in our back-to-school and holiday surveys).
