As a specialist rural property surveyor based out of the Bruton Knowles Gloucester office, I have more than 10 years’ experience working for both private and public sector clients in providing rural property sales and acquisition advice, rent reviews, compulsory purchase negotiations and all types of valuation work including secured lending, tax planning, matrimonial, capital gains and inheritance tax.With an in-depth knowledge of the agricultural industry, I am able to offer advice on the implementation of farm business tenancies, contract farming agreements, costings, project tendering and applications for the Basic Payment Scheme, rural grants and environmental stewardship schemes.I am a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV). I am the national media spokesperson for Bruton Knowles on rural property and land value matters, and able to provide comment and insight into the sector and the trends and issues it faces today.Coming from a farming background I have a good understanding of the agricultural industry and take a keen interest in all rural matters.
