I was appointed Co‑Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Cheviot Learning Trust, leading governance across a large multi‑academy trust comprising 18 schools and educating over 5,500 children and young people across Northumberland.In this senior leadership role, I provide strategic direction and oversight of the Trust’s educational, financial and operational performance. I chair and coordinate board activities, work closely with the CEO and Executive Team, and ensure strong accountability across all areas of provision, including safeguarding, curriculum quality, financial sustainability, and organisational development.I also play a key role in shaping culture, governance evolution, and long‑term Trust strategy, ensuring Cheviot continues to deliver high‑quality, inclusive education across its family of schools.
