About Ben Carollo
I’m an Accounting major preparing for a career in public accounting, with a strong interest in audit and financial reporting.I’m building a foundation in financial accounting, managerial accounting, and data driven decision making. I take pride in mastering technical concepts and understanding why the numbers matter. I have been mastering audit skills through my coursework at WSU, as well as my work experience. Currently I am the director of finance for IFC. In this role I prepared a six figure budget by forecasting the next fiscal year. I also keep up with the state of our finances by bookkeeping on spreadsheets showing our cash flows.I believe I would perform well in a big firm because I have lots of experience working on big projects with others. As chapter president for my fraternity I led 100+ men to become a successful chapter.Long term, my goal is to earn my CPA and build expertise in audit and financial reporting at a leading firm.If you’re in public accounting or finance, I’m always open to connecting and learning from professionals in the field.
