System planning, protection, and development of annual workplan for Wilson County District -Technical support for Wilson County District Engineering and Operations departments -Planning, Coordination, and Execution of system switching for the Wilson County area-Support and Guidance to system designers pertaining structural designs utilizing pole loading software -Administrate system-wide steel pole purchasing blanket including specifications, bid proposals/review, and coordination of orders among departments. Diverse projects pertaining to the Corporate Electrical Engineering Department performed including: City of Lebanon Voltage Conversion: Co-developed and implemented a change in approach which resulted in conversions finishing ahead of schedule for 2009 after being over 1 year behind schedule at the close of 2008. Co-planned an aggressive schedule which included a change of approach to the conversion planning process. Wrote orders for the day of conversions and coordinated with Wilson County District Operations Department on all necessary preparations. Led the process the day of each conversion and coordinated with Corporate Engineering on necessary updates. Conservation Voltage Reduction (CVR)- Determined available voltage reduction for Wilson County Substation feeders Utilizing System Analysis software and historic system load data. Provided input including correlation of peak day, time of day, temperature, and available voltage reduction for each month over the past year. Revision of Middle Tennessee Electric’s Spill Prevention Containment and Countermeasures document - conducted on several occasions to reflect system changes and comply with the most recent federal mandates pertaining to the topic Revisions took place in the fall of 2006, winter of 2008, and early 2013. The federally mandated document describes system wide containment measures, preventive steps, and planned response in the case of an oil spill from major operating equipment
