I lead Microsoft Research\'s engineering efforts providing a world-class platform for AI research. As a leader, I am passionate about developing a culture where engineers are empowered to deliver solutions that truly change the landscape. I lead with a focus on engineering excellence and strong mentorship that enables deep individual growth. Previously I supported the team building Meta\'s real-time analytics platform (OLAP DB) that serves high-throughput metrics for the Creator and Ads spaces. Before that, I was the engineering leader for the team that built cross-device experiences at Microsoft, such as the Your Phone app. We built Android, iOS and Windows Store apps that are used by millions of people daily, utilizing the cloud, AI, and ML to deliver innovative experiences.I have also specialized in solving deep multi-system performance bottlenecks and drove step-function improvements across large v-teams. I have led teams that owned developer platform components, window management and animations for the core user experience of Windows, as well as the welcoming experiences of Windows, including Retail Demo and the first-boot experience.
