Hornsea 4, 2.4GW (Oct 2024 – Present)Accountable for installation vessel sourcing & participating in (procurement led) WTG sourcing. I currently split my time between Hornsea 4 and supporting our ongoing US projects (South Fork, Revolution & Sunrise).Ocean Wind 1, 1.2 GW (Jan 2022 - Oct 2024)Reporting into the EPC Director with overall responsibility for the WTG package during the pre-commencement of the TSA through to 10 months prior to start of installation. As Ørsted’s first ever utility scale project with GE as turbine supplier. Built a team of ~15 full time staff over the course of the first 2 years and achieved high morale despite challenging conditions in the project. The project was ultimately cancelled. Following this I lead the WTG package through the TSA termination negotiations with GE. Various development stage projects (March 2021 - Jan 2022)Responsible for the WTG package during the development phase of projects including Hornsea 03, Hornsea 04 and Changua 2204. Responsibilities included (together with specialists) developing a budget and time schedule, developing preassembly harbour solutions and acting as the interface between WTG procurement and the project. Borssele 1 & 2, 752 MW (February 2020 - March 2021)Scope of work: Reporting into the EPC Director with overall responsibility for the WTG package from 2 months prior to the start of installation through to project close. Responsible for a team of approximately 30 people (approx. 50% of which were client reps or quality inspectors). Challenges overcome included COVID-19 breaking out approximately 1 month after I started in the role, a 1 month delay to our second installation vessel and handling safety incidents during construction. I achieved a swift commercial settlement with the TSA Contractor and successful handover to operations.
