I co-founded Appeal Digital in 2011 with a lifelong friend as we were both extremely excited by the potential of mobile. Our aim was to help businesses to communicate, engage and appeal to their customers and audiences on mobile devices.We began by operating a revenue share model and low initial build cost with small publishers on Apple Newsstand and brought in 14 clients from UK and US. These client projects helped us to cover rent and bills while at uni and we learnt a lot about what to do (and what not to do) when building and marketing successful mobile and digital products.Early successes were encouraging – for example being nominated for 2 awards at the Digital Publishing Awards 2013, awarded QED seal in the Publishing Innovation Awards 2013, Webby Award honouree 2016, and a couple of start-up awards/grants.More recent examples of client projects I’ve worked on:• Responsive Events Website using Wordpress for a PR agency running an event with thousands of delegates on the South coast• Lead generation web app for a Property Investment company with integration to Infusionsoft CRM• Membership site for a Franchisor to enhance the due diligence process during Franchise recruitmentMy strength is solving technical problems for our clients, to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
