Act as a trusted advisor to coach and guide managers and business leads on effective leadership practices to enhance employee relations, morale, productivity and retention• Advise business leads on complex employee relations matters and provide coaching on the interpretation and application of all employment related legislation and company policies to mitigate potential risks; support investigations and lead follow-up actions• Manage full-cycle recruitment for a range of corporate and warehouse roles ensuring a seamless candidate experience• Complete compensation benchmarking for open roles and new headcount; educate leaders on the company\'s compensation structure and pay for performance philosophy to drive equity• Plan and execute core annual HR initiatives, including performance management, improvement plans, succession, training, compensation and talent reviews• Design, revise, and implement HR policies and employee handbooks in alignment with federal and provincial legislation• Manage the leaves of absence program including disability, maternity and WSIB claims ensuring compliance and support for employees• Partner with leadership to design and deliver engagement initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive workplace and culture• Provide mentorship, guidance, and developmental training to direct reports• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR information system (HRIS), Dayforce
