At the 2015 Lettings Agency of the Year Awards, in association with The Sunday Times and The Times, Belvoir won the Gold Award for the Best Lettings Franchise. We have won this award on five previous occasions – the Gold in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2010 and Silver in 2011.The Property Ombudsman chaired the judging of the awards along with regulatory body ARLA.We have also been awarded the ESTA Gold award for the Best Large Lettings Chain.Don\'t just believe what we say - ask the experts!

ABOUT BELVOIR SHREWSBURY
Since winning the award for Group Contribution at the National Belvoir Awards, Paul Wallace-Tarry, Director of Belvoir Shrewsbury has grown his company, going from strength to strength. Paul, who has owned and run Belvoir Shrewsbury for the last 15 years, has represented Belvoir at the national level within the property industry. In February, Paul led a small delegation from his team to meet Gavin Barwell, Minister for Housing, to explain the adverse effect of a tenant fee ban directly to him from the point of view of agents, landlords and tenants. Paul is also corresponding with Shrewsbury and Atcham Member of Parliament Daniel Kawczynski who is acting in the best interests of the sector and has represented Belvoir Shrewsbury\'s case to the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG). Belvoir Central Office is part of the consultation process, acting in an advisory capacity to the ‘Fair Fees Forum’ which is the property industry’s own working group. Paul has also been invited to represent the Guild of Lettings and Management at a closed meeting with the Civil Servants responsible for drafting any future policy.The award recognised this, and his commitment to working with organisations such as the National Approved Letting Scheme and the Guild of Letting & Management. These organisations are well placed to persuade the government to regulate the industry, which Paul still feels is important as the industry continues to move forward.Paul has said “The letting industry should be regulated to ensure tenants and landlords alike receive a professional service. Belvoir Shrewsbury is self-regulated through The Property Ombudsman”.
