I stand in the possibility that we can, and must, creatively re-imagine the world we live in and how we live on the land. As a Landscape Architect I use my design, organization, and leadership skills and apply them to re-engaging families and communities with the land.While small and simple appears to be easy to do, I sure do enjoy the challenge of taking on site constrains and identifying and vivifying solutions that work for all. I enjoy working with messy, complex issues, typically with others on teams, where I can apply my integrated design and knowledge skills to create unique solutions of place.No matter the size of the project, I intentionally integrate Ecological Landscape Design principles whether it be a small intimate space, or master plan for a region.Through Root-Riot Urban Garden Network, we use creative solutions to create community, raise awareness, value individual contributions, and embrace the power of partnering with others to develop skill and knowledge centered on sustainability and resilience.(http://root-riot.com)Key skills include:Project Management: I have excellent experience in managing projects from start to finish. Excellent experience in running community-based organizations. Sales: Accomplished + Successful Sales Track for large scale multi-unit high-rise buildings as well as Single Family Residential Roof Decks, Urban Patios, and Front Yards. Detail-oriented and in action in working with clients + business partners to create awesome daily.Physical Landscape Design: Work with most Chicago municipal entities to design urban spaces for a variety of uses. Plants: Over my lifetime I\'ve developed a deep and abiding respect for the complexity of plants. I Love learning about plants, plant communities, and the ecosystems they are part of.Branding+Marketing: Corporate and Non-profit branding and marketing experience.LEED AP, MELA (Midwest Ecological Landscape Association) Board.

   Root-Riot: A rhizomatically spread network of community gardens, creating community, fostering friends, growing local food, one planting bed at a time. Three locations on the west side of Chicago and in the Western Suburbs. Additional locations expected in spring of 2013
