With over 20 years of experience in the Health, Education and Social Care sectors. I have worked with professionals across higher education institutes, schools, local authorities, hospices and the NHS, equipping individuals and team’s to navigate the complexities of their fields with confidence using coaching, mentoring and reflective initiatives. I still LOVE what I do after all this time … Key Areas of Expertise- Coaching and mentoring for diverse teams- Facilitating reflective practice and supervision- Leadership development - Understanding relationship dynamics - Resilience building - Maintaining purpose and motivation - Social work practice educator - Teaching and lecturing in applied social work practiceDuring my career I have enjoyed being an associate lecturer for Buckinghamshire New University, Oxford Brookes University and a guest lecturer at the University of Winchester. Currently I am pursuing a professional doctorate in coaching and mentoring at Oxford Brookes Business School, where my research focuses on advancing workplace diversity and equality through coaching and mentoring. Some of my work has been featured in the International Journal of Evidence-Based Coaching and Mentoring.I am an advocate for community service and recognise the benefit of giving time, energy and support to people. I have recently completed 15 years with Cruse Bereavement National supporting those grieving and supervising fellow volunteers. Additionally, for years I have volunteered for various charities supporting youth initiatives, with these experiences leading me first into social work and then into coaching. I would love to connect with other social workers and coaches as well as people who are interested in social impact initiatives.
