About Belinda Castro

Accepted as a transfer student to SNHU\'s Digital Photography degree program while completing a second degree in Landscape Design, but educational goals were put on hold after mother suffered a stroke and began struggling with dementia and needed full-time care. My mother and father made me who I am today and I promised my father before he passed away that so long as I was physically able I would always make sure that my mom was cared for and never sent away unless there was no other choice. Now I am taking on the most challenging role of my life as her full time caregiver and it definitely has not been easy. The one thing I\'m sure of is that at least I don\'t ever have to live with regrets because I made sure I was there for her. Being a full time caregiver was never something I thought I would be doing, but it is definitely something that has made me a stronger more compassionate person and giving me a different perspective on life and the world we live in.
