ABOUT SCOTT B.
Scott is currently the Executive Director of Catholic Charities in the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux. Prior to his current role, Scott was an experienced marketing communications leader and event producer at the Barry P. Bonvillain Civic Center and the Bayou Country Sports Park in Houma, Louisiana. As Sales and Marketing Manager, Scott developed revenue-generating campaigns to drive new business and oversees communications and sponsorships for the venues. Scott leaded the production and marketing of vendor shows consisting of more than 500 vendors annually.Scott was the Assistant Director, Marketing and Communications for the Louisiana State University Department of University Recreation. Throughout his eight years with University Recreation, Scott progressively advanced within the organization and specialized in graphic design, website design, branding and identity, and public relations. In 2012, Scott developed a campaign to students to support funding for a $80 million renovation and expansion of the LSU Student Recreation Center. Additionally, Scott served as a Senator in the LSU Staff Senate and was actively involved in numerous university-wide committees.
