With 20+ years of engineering experience, I earned respect at every company I worked at for meeting complex engineering projects head-on while satisfying all clients, budgetary, and quality requirements. I believe in directly leading by example. Although delegation is an essential component of any successful engineering endeavor, I would never ask a team member for something I would not be willing to handle myself. Additionally, I am a superb communicator who can bridge all specialties, engineering disciplines, and different interests, such as clients, suppliers, and contractors. My key areas of expertise: project management, electrical engineering, design engineering, technical consultation, and quality assurance/control. A few of my selected accomplishments- Attained the best Quality Team award for stellar, on-budget results against 7 competing departments- Spearheaded electrical /HVAC installations across an 11-level bed tower and 28K sq. ft. for the Methodist Hospital System’s North Campus expansion at the largest medical center in the world (875K sq. ft, 25 levels)- Headed power engineering field operations during the construction of a Marriot 5-star hotel with 33 floors and a (2*16) MVA electrical power substation- Constructed 10 teaching hospitals with a 492-bed capacity and 60 MVA power station (total built-up area: 49,950m2) for the Iraqi Ministry of Health- Coordinated the commissioning team to execute service packages for company-supplied products (i.e, MCC, DB, and VFD) against diverse internal/external expectations for the 6th largest (OG & C) project globally.

   The Buildings Group Electrical Lead role exists to:• Manage the buildings group electrical team and coordinate projects for electrical engineering and design.• Provide a central point of contact for building electrical issues and inquires.• Work with other disciplines in the coordination of information to engineer and design electrical packages.• Subject Matter Expert (SME) for capital and plant projects.Central Engineering Buildings Discipline Electrical LeadThe Key activities of the Buildings Group Electrical Lead include, but are not limited to:• Coordinate all communication avenues for Buildings Group Electrical Issues.• Participate in the development of new or evolution of existing MET or work processes related to the TRN’s(Technical Resource Network) technology area.• Champion the use of MET on projects.• Generate and assemble required documents, specifications, schedules etc. for the bid/construction packages.• Generate and assemble required documentation for building site assessments.• Coordinate with the PEL on bringing power into the building and the electrical room layouts.• Assure proper clearances are provided for cable trays, lighting and other electrical equipment.• Provide Project electrical team with building power requirements.• Facilitate the complete system design for buildings power including lighting and power panels, 480 volt power, requirements for BG furnished equipment. • Implement effective strategies to increase the work share between the Central Engineering Houston and Central Engineering Chennai.• Review and approve building fire protection system packages.• Review and approve material specifications for installation during construction.• Attend Electrical LVI group meetings monthly• Attend BG team meetings as scheduled and facilitated by the BG lead or other BG team members as required.
