Strategic Planning and ImplementationDevelop and implement the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).Define BIM goals, standards, and workflows aligned with project requirements and organizational objectives.Set up and maintain BIM protocols in accordance with ISO 19650 or other applicable standards.• Project Coordination and CollaborationCoordinate BIM processes across disciplines (architecture, structure, MEP, etc.).Facilitate collaboration between teams, ensuring data is shared consistently and efficiently.Serve as the primary liaison between project stakeholders regarding BIM issues.• Model Management and OversightEnsure accuracy, integrity, and quality of BIM models.Oversee model federation (combining models from different disciplines).Conduct model audits and clash detection using tools like Navisworks • Training and SupportProvide training and guidance to project teams on BIM tools and standards.Act as the technical support resource for BIM-related questions and issues.• Technology and Software ManagementEvaluate, implement, and maintain BIM software and tools (e.g, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD).Oversee software licensing, version control, and hardware requirements.• Documentation and ReportingMaintain detailed records of BIM processes, changes, and updates.Generate reports and dashboards for management and client review.Ensure data is archived and stored properly for future use or handover.• Compliance and Quality AssuranceEnsure all BIM processes comply with client requirements, industry standards, and contractual obligations.Monitor deliverables to ensure they meet LOD (Level of Development) and other BIM specifications.• Innovation and Continuous ImprovementStay current with emerging technologies and best practices in BIM.
