I have the joy of directing musical theater for kids ages 8-18 through Journey Theater, a program I helped launch as its first Artistic Director. Since its early days, Journey has grown from a small group of students into a thriving community that has impacted thousands of young performers.After moving back to Vancouver, WA, in 2018, I rejoined Journey as a director, bringing Broadway-style productions like Annie, Shrek, Willy Wonka, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Music Man, and more to life. I’m passionate about mentoring kids, helping them grow as both artists and individuals through the power of theater.Journey is known for its commitment to excellence on stage and off with dynamic productions, comprehensive training in drama, dance, and improv, and a deeply rooted mission to develop character and purpose. With six school-year productions, summer community theater, and a dedicated volunteer base, Journey creates a space where students and families come together to learn, grow, and make a difference.
