I am a critical thinker with a passion for health equity and social sustainability. I enjoy examining how intersectional identities have the ability to affect health outcomes. I have over 5 years of applied research experience spanning the topics of chronic diseases, mental health, substance abuse, reproductive and maternal health, food insecurity and globalization. My research has been able to better inform policy-makers and healthcare professionals with the ultimate goal of enhancing the healthcare experience of individuals in a rapidly evolving world.
