ABOUT BEHROUZ KHANI

An antenna and RF design engineer engaged with experienced cross-disciplinary staff (EE and ME) to conceive and design innovative antennas and antenna arrays. My role usually involves driving key aspects of product definition, simulation, execution, debugging and test. I am a responsive, flexible person and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. I have a strong background in electromagnetic theory and have designed several antennas for smartphones, computing platforms, medical sensors, IoT devices, embedded modems, automotive communication, navigation systems, satellite, air-to-ground terminals, and other mobile and fixed wireless access devices. Designed antennas included but not limited to PIFA, IFA, folded monopole, loop, microstrip patch, waveguide antenna, Vivaldi, log periodic and Yagi-Uda antenna. I have also designed phased array antenna for beamforming, null steering and smart antenna systems. I am well versed in antenna active (TRP TIS measurement), passive (anechoic chamber radiation pattern) and OTA measurement. I also have hands-on experience with schematic creation and PCB design tools as well as PCB fabrication and population. I am very well familiar with RF tests such as IIP3, OIP3, 1dB compression, noise figure, and S-parameters. I am experienced using common RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzer, vector network analyzer (VNA), signal generator, power meter, and noise figure meter. Familiar with GSM/UMTS/CDMA/LTE, 802.11, Bluetooth, GPS, Massive-MIMO, Millimeter-Wave, and other advanced wireless communication technologies. Several computer programming skills. Result-oriented; intelligent; eager to learn; keen on detail and organized. Well-mannered and a team player.
