ABOUT BEHRAD SOLEIMANI
With a background in Electrical Engineering, more specifically, optimization, machine learning, and statistical signal processing, Behrad is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in the ECE department at the University of Maryland, College Park under the supervision of Prof. Behtash Babadi. He has been developing a mathematical framework to extract the causal relationships in a network from indirect low-dimensional noisy observations with application to MEG functional connectivity analysis.
