ABOUT BEHNAZ ABDOLLAHZADEH

Leaving my hometown and everything that was familiar to me, to study and build a life in a new country, with a new language and culture, is one of the choices I’m most proud of. It wasn’t easy, but it taught me to be adaptable, curious, and resilient. These qualities have stayed with me throughout my whole journey as a scientist and are now guiding me as I take the next step into the pharmaceutical world. I am a Medical Scientist with an international PhD and Post Doc in Molecular Medicine, and +8 years of experience in clinical and preclinical research, mainly in the Immuno-Oncology and Hemato-Oncology fields. After years in academic and hospital based research, I am now looking to transition into the pharmaceutical industry, where I can apply my skills to support medical strategy and patient care more directly. Throughout my career, I have worked on international projects, including at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City, and collaborated with global stakeholders, KOLs, clinicians, and cross functional teams. I enjoy translating complex scientific data into clear insights, supporting clinical discussions, working across departments, mentoring, and constantly learning. I am comfortable engaging with stakeholders from different backgrounds, and I bring both scientific depth and a practical mindset to the table. I’m especially interested in Medical Affairs roles, where I can use my scientific background and keep working closely with healthcare professionals. These roles let me contribute to the company’s success while learning and growing in the fast-paced pharmaceutical environment. I look forward to sharing my knowledge, gaining new skills, and supporting the development of therapies that truly help patients.
