Conduct 2nd-line regulatory monitoring and testing of financial consumer protection laws applicable to the business to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. This includes testing internal controls, the consumer complaints program, credit reporting functions, and operations. Communicate discovered compliance issues and control gaps with business stakeholders to ensure understanding of risks and facilitate the development of action plans and corrective actions. Publish reports documenting monitoring and testing methodologies and findings noted during testing, which were shared with Executive Leadership and Bank Partners. Monitor customer base and practices for adherence with applicable state and federal regulations on a monthly basis and compile report on all potential issues Work in collaboration with business compliance officers and other stakeholders in various phases of testing and monitoring, including notification, fieldwork, escalation, reporting, and follow-up.
