ABOUT BEFTY JOSEPH
I am an avid and inquisitive project manager/scrum master with hands-on experience in Agile and Waterfall projects. With an overall experience of 10-plus years in the IT industry, I started my career as a quality analyst but soon moved to project management when I realized my passion for management. Over the course of my career, I have stayed true to my inner self and have always been inclined towards learning new things to improve in both my professional and personal life. As a seasoned project manager, I have a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. My expertise in quality management and stakeholder engagement has helped me lead successful teams in various industries. Understanding the needs of my team members and facilitating requirements through servant leadership has given me a true sense of belonging in the agile world. My colleagues would describe me as goal-oriented and a calm and quick thinker in critical situations. The curiosity to find solutions has opened many pathways for me to learn new and fascinating things that have come in handy in multiple projects I have led in the past decade. This inquisitiveness is why I found my passion in agile project management, which led me to take a scrum master certification. With the knowledge attained over the years, I have successfully delivered multiple projects in various domains as a project manager and a scrum master. The thrill of adventures, my resilience and perseverance to achieve my goals and my adaptability to new ecosystems have allowed me to migrate to Canada and pursue a post-degree diploma in Project Management at the University of Winnipeg PACE, which has provided me with the academic backing and confidence to soar higher in the management arena. I am committed to fostering a collaborative work environment that values transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement. I believe in building strong relationships with stakeholders and leveraging their feedback to drive project success. Outside of work, my passion is to travel. I believe that travelling is the best teacher a person can have in their lifetime. Experiencing the unknown, adapting to new people and things, and being in uncertain situations can teach you life lessons that you don’t learn in books, which can change your perspective on life immensely. If you seek a skilled project manager/ scrum master with a proven track record of delivering results, I would be delighted to connect with you. Let\'s explore how my experience and expertise can help you achieve your project objectives.
