About Beena Morar

Energy professional with over 15 years of experience in electricity. Although at one company, I have had donned several hats over the years including energy efficiency, demand response, wholesale procurement, utility-scaled solar generation, implementation of Time-Of-Use (as well as other rate structures), and regulatory advocacy. Currently, I work in wildfire mitigation, devising solutions and managing programs for customers impacted by the Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) program. In these pandemic years, a few things have become very clear to me - one, I really enjoy and thrive off working with a solid set of high performing professionals over the phone and in-person (I still value in-person interactions), learning new things and having to devise oftentimes creative solutions. The second thing is that so much can be accomplished with the option of a remote work environment; I\'d love to share what I have learned in one of the most progressive and complicated energy frameworks in the country as national standards and climate change show signs for the need.

   The Senior Project Manager is responsible for two primary functions currently; one, to have an integrated view on external outreach with customers to provide senior management with insights on gaps, overlaps and other opportunities. Additionally, this role is a member of the Customer Care incident management team during activation.
